The very best combination
Is the combination of food and vintage shopping along with friends. Since I had a day off from school and instead of spending time on working on homework, I took the time to take a new trip to this Goodwill store in Sandefjord since I failed on last time. Now I went on a weekday when it is open for once with my so-called Fretex-gang without Andrea(who actually spent her time on homework)
The Goodwill had very good selection of clothes, but I didn’t buy much except for a knitted sweater resembling to this. The clothes was toooo overprized even though the money goes to a good purpose. The store was candy for the eyes – the store had so much awesome stuff beside from clothes.
After looking and picking on stuff, we went to this nice café we have been also craving to visit since the both times I have been there, it has been closed of all the times I have to drop in, so two birds with one stone! So expect a bomb full of typical tourist pictures.

Since the post is much about vintage (I have saved the best all the very end) I am going to have my very first giveaway! babyy, i was made for you
I have been sooo hooked up with this song by She & Him ever since I saw the third episode of “My Life as Liz” or wait, maybe it was second episode? Never mind, the song gives me such 60s vibe therefore the headline is dedicated to the song and as salute for the spring has come! I was such in doubt if spring was ever coming to the town since the last days the weather has been switching between snow and windy weather. Yes, it does snow sometimes, still in March – Norway, you know.
Anyway, gripping the chance of nice weather for once, I wore this nice floral dress I found at a local flea market last fall. It was originally a maxi dress that I have shortened by a lot and sewn to more fitting silhouette. Love working on stuff that I have bought from thrift stores and flea markets!

eating spring rolls
Spent yesterday’s evening with Gunhild at her place where we fried some spring rolls which I had brought along with me. They have kind of funny shapes because is obvious not a good idea to store them in a plastic placed in backpack among heavy books, but they turned out good though! Now, the rest of the weekend is dedicated to homeworks, laziness and skyping with Simen.
All of my thoughts go to Japan and those who have been affected by the terrible natural disaster - Mother Nature can be so cruel sometimes.

o spring, where are you?
This is what I wore during a school day for couple of days ago. Since the bloody winter is still in Norway, I have literally lived in cardigans and still, I haven’t seen a single sign of spring coming. This is the bad side of living in Norway, no-ending winters. Oh, I long for days with sun and ZERO snow.
